Oak Tree The forest is populated with trees waiting for its chance to disguise themselves into different clothes each season. Among those trees, one of them whispered to me through the voices of the wind. It told me that sometime among its life, colorful flowers blossoms to fascinate others. It wears egg-shaped, toothed, veined, glossy, and bright green clothes. It is vastly common, but unique in its own way. It is difficult to establish and develop its root when it’s moved, but builds on to the ground after few years. As I listened, I began to notice that this one Oak tree was representing myself. I join myself in a group of people, but do not permeate into the group to lose my identity. I take time to stay on and develop to one task, but once I do, I never give up on it. Like the bugs eat the tree leaves that provide energy, I give out humor and happiness that provides energy to others. Like one tree is not enough for the world to change, I am not strong enough without my friends and family. But like the beauty and harmony that one Oak tree creates with the environment, I blend in with the culture with my own uniqueness to create a harmony with the people I love.
